1925 marked the birth of Art, the pup advertising campaign for gas appliances offered by Bryant Heater & Manufacturing Co.
There were three different colored "Pup" logos: Black, Blue, and Red
The slogan with the Pup was:
Let the Pup be your Furnace Man
This slogan was consistent within printed logos though it would be changed slightly in various product advertisements.

In 1933 Dresser Industries Inc., acquired the common stock of The Bryant Heater & Manufacturing Company. A victim of the Depression because of the decline in the home-construction business, Bryant cost a mere $65,000. Updating started at once, and by the end of the 1930s there was a completely new line of heating products as well as a broader distribution program for sales.
